MILAN, JUNE 30, 2026 – Matteo Darmian and Yann Sommer's time at Inter has come to an end. The Nerazzurri club officially announced the departures of both players with messages posted on their social media channels, paying tribute to their contributions over the past few seasons.
For both, this marks the end of a period full of successes, which saw them protagonists in the conquest of national and international trophies with the Inter shirt.
Darmian, six seasons and nine trophies in black and blue
Matteo Darmian leaves Milan after six seasons and a trophy cabinet that includes nine trophies: three Scudetti, three Coppa Italia, and three Supercoppa Italiana.
In its farewell message, the club recalled the defender's human and professional value.

Sommer also leaves after three seasons
Yann Sommer's journey also comes to an end, having arrived at Inter three years ago and played a key role in winning four trophies.
The Swiss goalkeeper ended his career with 139 official appearances and 66 clean sheets.
In the greeting published by the club, particular attention was given to his performance in the 2025 Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, which was considered one of the defining moments of his Inter career.
