July Marano is the new queen of artistic gymnastics. At the PalaMeda, with a score of 106.700, the Sicilian gymnast from Ginnastica Civitavecchia, not yet eighteen, won the women's overall title ahead of defending champion Giulia Perotti (Libertas Ginnastica Vercelli), born in 2009, who finished with a total of 105.200 points. Taking third place was the very young Anthea Sisio (Aiace Ginnastica), a Venetian who trains at the CAT in Trieste, born in 2010, who scored 105.150 points. Asia D'Amato is resting due to an ankle injury that was operated on during floor exercise. On the podium, therefore, three athletes with bright futures – one born in 2008, one in 2009, and one in 2010 – who represent part of the New Gen of Enrico Casella's national team and confirm the excellent state of health of the women's artistic gymnastics movement.
In addition to the all-around medals, the PalaMeda also crowned the new overall champions in each specialty. The 2026 Italian vault title went to Benedetta Gava (Artistica 81 Trieste), ahead of Rosanna Ercolano (Penisola Sorrentina) and Arianna Frizzele (Futuregym 2000). Giulia Perotti (Libertas Ginnastica Vercelli) won the uneven bars, ahead of Elisa Iorio (Fiamme Oro) and her teammate Artemisia Iorfino. Manila Esposito (Ginnastica Civitavecchia) reigned supreme on the balance beam, ahead of Eleonora Calaciura (Juventus Nova Melzo 1960) and Clarissa Rinaldi (Vertigo Roma). The star from Boscotrecase completed the double on floor exercise, edging out Gava and July Marano.
