MILAN – Inter's Board of Directors approved the draft financial statements for the 2025/26 fiscal year during a meeting held at the club's headquarters. The results will be evaluated and approved by the Nerazzurri's Shareholders' Meeting, which will be held by mid-October. This is the second year the club has closed with a profit, marking a period of consolidation. The income statement for the 2025/26 season highlights: revenues equal to €518 million, recording the second best result in the Club's history after last season's record (€567 million), which was characterised by the extraordinary revenues guaranteed by participation in the FIFA Club World Cup and reaching the UEFA Champions League Final.
The budget project closes positively with a net profit of €22.7 million. This value was achieved thanks to the turnover consolidation and to a reduction in production costs of approximately €20 million, equal to 4%. Trading revenues increased by 7%, primarily thanks to the growth in merchandising revenues, supported by the new business model implemented with partner Fanatics. Matchday revenues also increased, considering the average per event. Player trading revenues increased by €11 million, along with a decrease in amortization and write-downs of player rights of €8 million. The fiscal year's performance allowed the club to return to positive territory. Group net equity of €10.4 million, from a negative position of €12 million at the end of the 2024/25 financial year.
With reference to the Group's financial charges, during the fiscal year in question a reduction in financial charges of 50% approximately, equal to €19 million, attributable to the refinancing transaction concluded at the end of last year. The new financing is characterized by a lower cost of capital than the previous one.
The financial report states that the Club has started a significant investment plan for infrastructure development of the Inter Training Center in Appiano Gentile and the Konami Women & Talent Center in Interello. During the summer transfer window the rose at the disposal of the Mister Cristian Chivu, in his second season as Nerazzurri coach, has been expanded with the arrival of new international talents to be added to a consolidated group that faces the ninth consecutive Champions League and Serie A as Italian Champions. At the start of the 2026/27 season, a new partnership with BBVA, a leading banking institution in the sector and characterized by an innovative, fully digital offering in Italy. BBVA is the Nerazzurri's Official Sleeve Partner and Official Banking Partner, and Front Jersey Partner for all youth teams from the Under 18s onwards.
