(PRIMASPORT) PIEDMONT The 110th GranPiemonte will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, on the roads of the Langhe, Monferrato, and Roero regions. The top two finishers at the recent World Championships in Montreal, Brandon McNulty and Michael Matthews, will be taking part. 2025 winner Isaac Del Toro and former world champion Mads Pedersen will also be competing. The race covers 185 km from Asti to Bra, with an undulating route and ten climbs, including Manera, Tre Cunei, and Roddino, with a final 34.7 km circuit that concludes in Bra.
Among the most anticipated Italians are Lorenzo Mark Finn, Alberto Bettiol, and Matteo Trentin. Important international names also present include Romain Gregoire, Dorian Godon, Marc Hirschi, Jhonatan Narvaez, Matej Mohoric, and Damiano Caruso.
The race will be broadcast live on RaiSport HD from 2.50pm, as well as on Eurosport and the Discovery+ and HBO Max platforms, with international distribution covering Europe, America, Asia and Oceania.
The route features a finale with two gentle climbs, one with a gradient of up to 8% at 1,500 meters from the finish, and a final straight with a very gentle climb of 250 meters. The GranPiemonte thus confirms its challenging profile and high technical level thanks to the presence of world and national champions with experience in major international races. (PRIMASPORT)
