(PRIMASPORT) TRENTO Gianmarco Tamberi declared at the Trento Sports Festival that his ultimate goal is to win two Olympic gold medals in the high jump. The Italian Olympian recalled how his father convinced him to pursue this sport, after a background in basketball, and emphasized the importance of fear as a driving force behind his motivation.
Tamberi explained that the setbacks he's suffered throughout his career, especially after 2016, have helped him improve and understand himself better. "Thinking about winning Olympic gold gives you chills," he said, emphasizing how the Olympics are the event where sport, outside of football, gains maximum visibility and motivation.
Infine, ha espresso gratitudine per il talento scoperto e determinazione a non accontentarsi, per chiudere la carriera consapevole di aver dato il massimo. (PRIMASPORT)
