(PRIMASPORT) CARDIFF – The interview Gian Piero Gasperini was supposed to give to SkySport24 in Wales has been postponed a few days at the coach's request. He evidently wants to outline the new Giallorossi team, hoping to secure some more certainty in the squad. Roma's transfer window thus far appears to have failed to meet the needs outlined by Gasperini. It's no secret that they're missing a right-footed attacking midfielder, a profile considered crucial to completing their system. Roma's transfer strategies have failed to meet this request. The task of filling the gap falls to new sporting director D'Amico, with whom Gasperini worked during the second half of his nine years at Atalanta. It's clear that the attacking qualities needed to complete the Giallorossi's defense need to be tapped. Gasperini wants certainty before appearing on television. The defense is solid, and the coach can count on Malen, Dybala, Soulé, and Santiago Castro up front. However, the rotation requires a player with the above characteristics, and perhaps at least one other player who can expand a bench deep enough to tackle league and Champions League matches.
