ROME Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini responded to a question about a possible Scudetto dream in light of the first four consecutive league victories, emphasizing that the real objective will only be defined after about twenty matches. In an interview with Sky Sport Insider, Gasperini stated that the bar isn't raised simply by declaring objectives, but by improving daily through teamwork and the players' characteristics.
“"We realize that all sorts of predictions are being made around us, and rightly so: people have their dreams, they want the best," said the coach. However, he emphasized the need to look at the situation concretely and clarified that the only clear objective at the moment is to remain high up in the standings. Only after about twenty league matches will it be possible to discuss more specific goals.
Gasperini also previewed the upcoming tough matches against Inter, Como, Real Madrid, and Napoli, calling them important moments to test the team's true capabilities and understand how far this Roma team can go.
