Federica Brignone talks about her post-surgery recovery and the peak of her career.

(PRIMASPORT) TRENTO Federica Brignone, the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic champion in the super-G and giant slalom, shared an update on her health and career with the press at the Trento Sports Festival. Recently undergoing surgery, the skier stated that she is currently undergoing physiotherapy to fully recover.

Brignone explained that he reached the pinnacle of his athletic performance in the last two years, a goal he'd dreamed of his entire career. However, he also confided that that moment of peak success quickly faded: "In the last two years, I've truly reached the pinnacle I'd dreamed of my entire career. And unfortunately, I reached it and watched it vanish so quickly.".

Despite this, her motivation remains strong and focused on personal and sporting well-being: "What motivates me is feeling good, but being an athlete is something I enjoy, it's my life, and I think I'm privileged to be able to be an athlete." (PRIMASPORT)
