(PRIMASPORT) Naples, 31 OCTOBER 2025 – The Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, has ordered the ban on the sale of tickets to residents in the provinces of Syracuse and Palermo for the next two competitions of football considered at risk.
The measure concerns the "Giugliano-Siracusa" match, valid for the 2025/26 Lega Pro championship, Group C, scheduled for Sunday 2 November at the "De Cristofaro" stadium in Giugliano in Campania, and the "Juve Stabia-Palermo" match, valid for the national Serie B championship, scheduled for Saturday 8 November at the "Romeo Menti" stadium in Castellammare di Stabia.
The decision was taken on the advice of the CAcademic Year of Analysis for the Safety of Sports Events and with the approval of the Naples Police Headquarters, which reported "high-risk profiles for public order and safety" linked to the historic rivalry between the fan bases.
The Prefect has ordered increased law enforcement control and prevention measures to ensure the smooth running of sporting events. (PRIMASPORT)
