A little over two months after the start of the 2026/2027 season, the Women's Volleyball League has announced the calendar of the next LVF A1 Fineco, with the start of the Regular Season scheduled for weekend of October 3-4 and expected end between 13–March 14, 2027. The fourteen participating teams will therefore face a longer championship, with the regular season extended by three weeks and featuring only three midweek rounds out of a total of twenty-six matchdays. At the end of the regular season the top eight teams will advance to the Scudetto Playoffs, while the thirteenth and fourteenth will be relegated to Serie A2.
News for the quarter-finals of the Scudetto Playoffs, which will be played with home and away matches and a possible Golden Set, while the semi-finals and final will maintain the best-of-five format. The new format of the Playoff Challenge, which will be played with direct clashes over two legs and a possible Golden Set.
Once the first half of the season is over, the top eight teams will qualify for the quarter-finals. Italian Frecciarossa Cup, which will be played in a one-off match on December 23. The Final Four of the competition is instead marked on the calendar for the weekend of February 13-14 The venue to be determined. The championship will open early on October 3rd with a match between Numia Vero Volley Milano and Il Bisonte Firenze. The first round features the debut in Cuneo of the Italian Prosecco DOC champions A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano, followed by matches between Savino Del Bene Scandicci and Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri '76, Megabox Ond.
