CIVITANOVA MARCHE Cucine Lube Civitanova, after returning from recent international commitments, is preparing for a joint training session scheduled for Wednesday, September 30th at 6:00 PM against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina. The match will be played at the Palasport in Grottazzolina, a change from the originally planned PalaSavelli venue.
The red and white group includes several internationals such as Jackson Howe, Antonin Klimes, Miran Kujundzic, brothers Alex and Simeon Nikolov, and Maksym Tonkonoh, while Eric Loeppky, Fabio Balaso and Mattia Bottolo will join the team later.
Alex Nikolov, a spiker returning from a summer with the Bulgarian national team and the leading scorer in last season's regular season, said he was thrilled to train with his brother Simeon and confident for the new season: "Training with 'Moni' at the Eurosuole Forum was wonderful. I can feel the difference and the very positive atmosphere." Regarding his relationship with his brother, Nikolov added that, since they are both passionate and determined, they often engage in heated discussions, but always with the best interests of the team in mind.
The player finally expressed high ambitions for the upcoming season, underlining that he is in a strong group and eager to win titles.
