Roma CEO Galantic announces Under-23 team and new stadium for technical development

(PRIMASPORT) ROME – Roma CEO John Galantic announced the need to create an Under-23 team, emphasizing the importance of the youth academy to the club's growth. Speaking on the second day of the Trento Sports Festival, Galantic explained that this new team will serve as an intermediate step between the youth team and the first team, enabling the emergence of young talents like Lulli and Pisilli.

The manager also discussed the project for the new stadium, which will be inaugurated in four years and represents a turning point for Roma's financial and technical ambitions. "The stadium is designed for the fans and will allow us to make a leap forward economically and technically," he stated, emphasizing how the new facility will replace the Stadio Olimpico, deemed less suited to modern football. Galantic added that some of the world's best stadiums were considered for the project and that further details will be revealed soon.

Finally, regarding the transfer market, the CEO stated that Roma remains attentive to new signings with the aim of growing the team, also highlighting the collaboration with Cannes in France to develop young talent and maintain a sustainable model through internal development and the monetization of certain players.
