Saturday 12th September in Catanzaro, at the San Giovanni Monumental Complex, the event will be held FISIO360 – The Faces of Physiotherapy in a Single Experience, an initiative organized by the Interprovincial Order of Physiotherapists of Catanzaro, Crotone, and Vibo Valentia on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day.
The event, free and open to all, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will present physiotherapy as a cross-disciplinary discipline, useful not only for post-traumatic or surgical rehabilitation, but also for prevention, movement education, and maintaining independence throughout life, from childhood to old age.
Throughout the day, there will be informative sessions, demonstrations, and immersive experiences to showcase the diverse areas of physiotherapists' expertise, including sports rehabilitation and the management of chronic conditions and frailties.
Francesco Saverio Laraia, president of the Order, emphasized that physiotherapists, in addition to technical expertise, must be able to develop personalized and shared programs, enhancing the relationship with the individual to promote functional recovery and quality of life.
The initiative aims to promote a culture of movement aimed at encouraging active lifestyles and early intervention to prevent the loss of autonomy, thus contributing to the health of the community.
