(PRIMASPORT) BEIJING – Alexander Zverev defeated Shang Juncheng 6-0, 6-3 in the round of 32 of the ATP tournament in Beijing, advancing to the quarterfinals where he will face Novak Djokovic. The German player dominated the match with ease, effectively utilizing his serve with nine aces and a high percentage of first-serve points won.
“I'll have a very tough opponent tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to this challenge and I'm excited,” Zverev said. “This is one of Novak's favorite courts; he's never lost. Obviously, I'll do everything I can to compete with him and, hopefully, win.”.
Novak Djokovic, che ha vinto nove dei 14 precedenti incontri contro Zverev, inclusa l’ultima sfida al Roland Garros 2025, rappresenta dunque un test arduo per il tedesco all’Open di Pechino. (PRIMASPORT)
