And Atalanta have two games to play in quick succession: the match against Ajax in Amsterdam on October 22nd and the home match against Frosinone three days later. In both the Conference League and the league, the player to partner Kristensen with is undoubtedly Obric, who is on the UEFA B list and made his debut at San Siro last Sunday against AC Milan. The other alternatives to the absentees (Scalvini, Kolasinac, Hien, and Kossounou) would be Zappacosta's recovery for the European trip and the deployment of 20-year-old Marco Plaia in Serie A. Moreover, in the post-match press conference at San Siro, regarding the defensive emergency, Maurizio Sarri responded that the solution lies in using the young talents from Atalanta's youth system, bringing forward their deployment to the first team. But while the defense is forced to rely on the same players, Atalanta retains all its qualities and potential rotations in midfield and attack, despite the forced absences of Kessie and Raspadori. Elmas returns to action for the trip to Amsterdam after his league suspension and could be a key player in a likely 4-2-3-1 formation, the same one adopted by Ajax. The rotation for the central attacking role should award Scamacca a starting spot. In midfield, Gaetano, reinvigorated by his goals and performance at San Siro, is a candidate to partner Ederson.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
BERGAMO – Sette giocatori di movimento infortunati, tre dei quali difensori centrali.
