Inter secured a resounding 3-0 victory over Parma thanks to first-half goals from Susic, Calhanoglu (penalty), and Thuram. The Nerazzurri dominated the match thanks to solid play and well-converted chances. The second half was pure academic.

Thuram shone with his third goal, demonstrating agility and high-level technique, and, as the commentators noted, having fun on the pitch. Pio Esposito continued his improvement, earning a penalty with a clever use of space, while Sucic opened the scoring with a goal less than a quarter of an hour into the match thanks to a clever recovery from Keita.

Carlos Augusto proved himself to be a versatile and reliable player, a valuable asset to any coach due to his professionalism and versatility. Other Inter players, such as Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, and Dimarco, also contributed to the success with solid performances. Parma, led by new coach Gilardino, never got into the game.

Inter coach Cristian Chivu expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance, highlighting the players' commitment and energy despite the three-week break. "It was an unknown quantity, but the lads worked well and with enthusiasm," he explained to DAZN. Chivu had particular praise for Pio Esposito, who started alongside Thuram: "He's generous; selfishness isn't part of his vocabulary. He has room for improvement, he works hard, and I was also impressed with his counterattacks. He's making himself available to the group and will give us a significant boost.".

Regarding the other players' performances, the coach highlighted Carlos Augusto's qualities, praising his physical strength, energy in duels, and long-range shooting. Regarding Calhanoglu, he stated that he's doing well and praised Spence's debut, coming off just seven days of training with the team: "We can't expect too much; he needs training and minutes, but we hope that by improving with daily work, he can make a significant contribution.".

The championship has resumed in the best possible way for Chivu's team, who will return to San Siro on Tuesday 13 October for their home debut in the 2026/27 Champions League against Club Brugge.

Read also

Inter defeated Parma 3-0 in a match dominated by decisive goals from Thuram, Pio Esposito, and Sucic, and excellent performances from Carlos Augusto and his teammates.

"h5ap_radio_sources":[
[35
4151,1850,1604,3060,1848,2459,289,4848,443,1842,44,4865,3282
30
post-125535","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-calcio","tag-alberto-gilardino","tag-carlos-augusto","tag-cristian-chivu","tag-djed-spence","tag-federico-dimarco","tag-hakan-calhanoglu","tag-inter","tag-mkhitaryan","tag-parma","tag-pio-esposito","tag-serie-a","tag-sucic","tag-thuram
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/54de8379a15a6539d41f5cd43c1b6fc220d10161ae5fefcd739b4111632a6a1a?s=96&d=mm&r=g
["GET
