The thirty-six-year-old dominated the 22-kilometer race, holding a 6.59-second lead over Frenchman Bruno Armirail and a 28.43-second lead over his compatriot Maxime Decomble.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marco Frigo was the best of the Italians, finishing seventh, 55 seconds behind the winner. The course presented few difficulties, with the exception of the 2.1-kilometer Mozjanca climb with an average gradient of 10.21 TP3T, already tackled in the road race won by Belgian Remco Evenepoel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rogli\u010d, Olympic champion in the same discipline in Tokyo, thus crowned the European Cycling Championships hosted on home soil in the best possible way.
