FIGUEIRA DA FOZ \u2013 Eleven Italian crews will be competing in the Coupe de la Jeunesse Beach Sprint, scheduled to take place in Figueira da Foz (Portugal) from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October, based on the results of the selections held in Barletta immediately after the Italian Championships on Monday 20th July.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the first day, the singles sculls will be Michele Grosso (Pro Monopoli) and Gaia Saija (Peloro Rowing). The women's doubles will feature Miriam Loconsole (CUS Bari) and Mariantonietta Trischitta (Peloro Rowing). In the men's doubles, the spotlight will be on Christian Candido (Fiamme Gialle) and Christian Baia (CN Paradiso). In the mixed doubles, Francesco Tanzarella (VVF Carrino) and Lisa Marchetti (SC Varese) will compete.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second day will feature singles players Thomas Capponi (Fiamme Gialle) and Gaia d'Este (SC Timavo). The women's doubles will feature Maja Antoni and Eleonora Diamanti Lelli, both of CC Saturnia. The men's doubles will feature Daniel Bodini (SC Arolo) and Max Linhart (CC Saturnia). Alessandro Patrignani (SC Montefeltro) and Barbara Cilli (LNI Barletta) will compete in the mixed doubles.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third day will be dedicated to the relay with a crew still being defined.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the days of\u00a0<\/span>Friday and Saturday<\/span>, the competition will get into full swing right from the early hours of the morning. The engines will start punctually at\u00a0<\/span>9:00<\/span>\u00a0with the\u00a0<\/span>Time Trials<\/span>\u00a0of the men's doubles (CJM2x), followed by the\u00a0<\/span>9:15<\/span>\u00a0from the women's doubles (CJW2x). At\u00a0<\/span>9:35<\/span>\u00a0the men's singles (CJM1x) will take to the water at\u00a0<\/span>9:55<\/span>\u00a0it will be the turn of the women's singles (CJW1x) and, to close the first qualifying phase, the\u00a0<\/span>10:20<\/span>\u00a0We will see the mixed doubles (CJMix2x) in action. After a short break at 10:45, it will be time for the first knockout stages, the\u00a0<\/span>Knockouts<\/span>: we start again at\u00a0<\/span>11:00<\/span>\u00a0with the women's doubles, and then continue every twenty minutes with the men's singles at\u00a0<\/span>11:20<\/span>, the women's singles at\u00a0<\/span>11:40<\/span>and finally the mixed doubles at\u00a0<\/span>12:00<\/span>. Lunch break at 12:30. The afternoon will be a real race towards the medals! We'll start again at\u00a0<\/span>14:00<\/span>\u00a0with the quarter-finals of the men's doubles and at\u00a0<\/span>14:20<\/span>\u00a0with those of the women's doubles. Semi-finals from\u00a0<\/span>14:40<\/span>, to get to the first key moments of the day: the very first\u00a0<\/span>finals for gold<\/span>, with the men's doubles at\u00a0<\/span>15:00<\/span>\u00a0and the women's doubles at\u00a0<\/span>15:10.<\/span>\u00a0 The battle will continue with the individuals: from\u00a0<\/span>15:25<\/span>\u00a0the qualifiers and quarter-finals will be played, followed by the semi-finals at\u00a0<\/span>16:05<\/span>\u00a0for men and women\u00a0<\/span>16:15<\/span>\u00a0for women. To\u00a0<\/span>16:25<\/span>\u00a0the men's singles champion will be crowned and, just ten minutes later, at\u00a0<\/span>16:35<\/span>, the women's singles champion. The mixed doubles will close the rich afternoon program: quarterfinals at\u00a0<\/span>16:50<\/span>, semi-finals at\u00a0<\/span>17:10<\/span>\u00a0and the grandiose <\/span>final at<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>17:25<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The day of\u00a0<\/span>Sunday<\/span>\u00a0will offer an equally concentrated and captivating show entirely in the morning. Starting at\u00a0<\/span>09:00<\/span>\u00a0and up to\u00a0<\/span>09:40<\/span>\u00a0we will witness a rapid series of\u00a0<\/span>Time Trials<\/span>\u00a0and preliminary rounds to define the starting grids. Then, starting from\u00a0<\/span>10:30<\/span>, we will experience the final crescendo: we will start with the Final D at\u00a0<\/span>10:30<\/span>, the Final C at\u00a0<\/span>10:40<\/span>\u00a0and the Final B at\u00a0<\/span>10:50<\/span>. The climax of the whole event will be reached exactly at\u00a0<\/span>11:00<\/span>, when will the start\u00a0<\/span>Final A<\/span>, the most awaited moment that will decree the overall winners.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
