A historic success, especially as he rewrote numerous records. He wins the world title early in a 2026 season in which he has been the undisputed dominator. Among the highlights: Race 2 at Phillip Island, where he won by 11 seconds. At Balaton Park, in Race 1, he took his 14th consecutive victory, surpassing Razgatlioglu&#039;s record of two wins. At Misano, he secured a hat-trick in front of tens of thousands of Italian fans. Bulega is now the second Italian to become a World Superbike world champion, following in the footsteps of two-time world champion Max Biaggi, who won in 2010 and 2012 on an Italian Aprilia.
