This ancient discipline, dating back to before the 15th century, originally a game between farmers and cheesemakers to test the ripening and firmness of the cheese.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Using a string wrapped around the form, the athletes apply a rotating motion that can send it flying for hundreds of meters, a technical feat requiring strength and precision.
