The Irishman was among the day&#039;s attackers, overtaking his breakaway teammate Santiago Buitrago in the final 300 meters of the climb. Buitrago, a strong contender for the polka-dot jersey for best climber, but still without his first stage win, finished jointly with the top five riders in the general classification, with the same time, 5:11 behind the winner. Therefore, Enric Mas retained the red leader&#039;s jersey with a 1:37 advantage over Primoz Roglic.
