BEIJING - Jannik Sinner wins the 500th ATP tournament in Beijing, defeating American Learner Tien (ATP No. 52) 6-2, 6-2 in the final. The South Tyrolean immediately responds to Alcaraz, who won in Tokyo. The Spaniard, world No. 1, will not be at the 1000th ATP tournament in Shanghai, however, so Sinner will be able to plan his climb back up the ATP rankings. It wasn't a particularly challenging match for Sinner (conceding just two missed break opportunities with 10 aces), who finished in 1'14". It's the 21st ATP title of his career, in 30 finals.
